Show and Tell!

Our class has been involved in a brief study of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America. We have analyzed both documents for similarities and differences. And, we have evaluated the importance of each. As a special treat, Torr brought in some very realistic copies of these important documents. I have asked him to tell you all about it. :)

Hey! This is Torr! I'm going to tell you how I got a copy of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. A couple of fall breaks ago I went to Washington D.C. I saw a lot of museums and historical things. The last museum I went to had the REAL Declaration of Independence in it and also the Constitution. My whole family saw it, and it was incredible to see them in real life. What was real amazing was the security there. You couldn't touch anything. The Contitution and the Declaration were both guarded with lasers. No flashes on cameras and also the room was a perfect temperature so the paper wouldn't decay. That is my story of going to see the Declaration and the Constitution.
