Plate tectonics is the scientific study of the movement of continental and oceanic plates. Today, we studied convergent, divergent, and transverse (slipping) movement of plates with graham crackers (continental plates) and fruit roll ups (oceanic plates) on icing (magma)!
Can you tell which movements are which? Can you see mountains being formed? Or magma rising through the cracks between the plates?
