A Fantastic Field Trip!

Our fifth graders are working on their first stories! And, their first audience is giving the stories rave reviews!

Each student started with the same "prompt" (story starter):

If you could plan a field trip for our class, where would we go and what would we do? Imagine that our class went on your fantasy field trip. Tell the story about the adventures we had that day.

Today, the students shared their rough drafts for the first time with a peer group. Soon we will begin the editing and revision process!

Can't wait to see (and hear!) the finished products!
